| Era da un paio di anni che avevo questo baule di paglia, quando me lo hanno dato aveva solo dei buchi piccoli e gli mancava un po' di colore. All'inizio volevo solo rinfrescargli il colore, ma i bambini come vedete hanno fatto delle tane dai buchini che originalmente erano sul coperchio. Un giorno guardando un giornale mi e' venuta l'idea di ricoprilo di stoffa. Sono andata a comprare una stoffa molto economica, in caso di sbagli, ho preso le misure, cominciato a tagliare e voila'! Chi lo avrebbe mai detto. Come nuovo. I have had this chest for a few years. It initially had some small holes and it just needed some restaining. But with children around the holes got bigger. One day as I was looking at a magazine I got the idea of covering it with fabric and save the abused chest. After picking the brain of some friends that can really saw I decided to take on the project. I got some cheap fabric at the store, just in case I messed up. I had never done something like this before. I was surprised how well it turned out. Now I need to buy a better quality fabric. |
