We have been here a little over a week, we are almost all unpacked. The house needs some serious painting to get done so we are not putting any selves up until we do that. The house is huge. The neighbors have been really nice and friendly, the kids at the different schools have been very welcoming to my kids. I don't think reality has hit me yet because I have been so busy and I still am. The weather is a beast. It's mostly cloudy and it is really really really cold. They say the snow won't melt till March, April. This place is beautiful. The things I don't like so far are food prices, they are really high, and Costco is one hour away. We got a Sam's Club membership last weekend and needless to say their selection and quality of things is really small especially the cheese selection. Ismar loves the job, the environment and the people he works with. I have had to drive in the snow everywhere since we left Ismar's car back in AZ. Everything is really close, within a mile and a half we have everything.
E' passata piu' di una settimana e abbiamo quasi spacchettato tutto. La casa ha bisogno di essere pitturata quindi non mettiamo le mensole fino a che Ismar non finisce di rimbiancare. La casa e' grandissima. I vicini e i bambini che vanno a scuola con i miei sono stati molto gentili e accoglienti con i miei. Il tempo e' freddissimo. La neve e alta e non si sciogliera' fino a marzo o aprile. A parte questo il posto e' bello. L'unica cosa che mi dia fastidio e' che il cibo e' caro e ci sono pochi supermercati da cui segliere. Ismar e' contento del suo nuovo lavoro e le persone che lo circondano, fortunatamente e' in un buon ambiente. Io faccio da chauffer a tutti perche' Ismar ha lasciato la sua macchina in Arizona. Sto' imparando a guidare con la neve, vado pianissimo anche perche questo posto e' in collina. Per quanto riguarda me, sono stata cosi' presa da altre cose che ancora non mi rendo conto di come mi sia cambiata la vita. Spero che tutto continui a procedere per il meglio.
