Homemade playdough Pongo fatto in casa

Questo pongo lo abbiamo fatto io e Luca con il sale, la farina e l'aqua.  L'unico problema e' che era troppo appiccicoso.

Per divertimento - For Fun

Era da un paio di anni che avevo questo baule di paglia, quando me lo hanno dato aveva solo dei buchi piccoli e gli mancava un po' di colore.  All'inizio volevo solo rinfrescargli il colore, ma i bambini come vedete hanno fatto delle tane dai buchini che originalmente erano sul coperchio.  Un giorno guardando un giornale mi e' venuta l'idea di ricoprilo di stoffa.  Sono andata a comprare una stoffa molto economica, in caso di sbagli, ho preso le misure, cominciato a tagliare e voila'!  Chi lo avrebbe mai detto.  Come nuovo.

I have had this chest for a few years.  It initially had some small holes and it just needed some restaining.  But with children around the holes got bigger.  One day as I was looking at a magazine I got the idea of covering it with fabric and save the abused chest. After picking the brain of some friends that can really saw I decided to take on the project.  I got some cheap fabric at the store, just in case I messed up.  I had never done something like this before.  I was surprised how well it turned out.  Now I need to buy a better quality fabric.

Principal's list

I find out through Ismar that Stefano is on the Principal's list...so I immediatly think "Great what did he do now".  But I was wrong!  The principal's list is for for straight A student with good attendance and good behavior.  Italia made Honor Roll but this is even bigger then that.  He is so dedicated to his school work.  We are proud of him.

Finally did it!

I told the hair stylist to take one last picture before she cut and of course the picture looks great.  She told me not to look at it!

Storm - Tempesta Novembre 2011

Last week's storm broke our tree
La tempesta della settimana scorsa c'ha stroncato l'albero, come si dice in Toscana.
Per fortuna il babbo di Ismar e' un giardiniere e ci ha prestato la sega elettrica e il camion.

Stefano and Luca are race car drivers, Emma a witch and Italia a lifeguard.
Stefano e Luca sono pitoli di macchine da corsa, Emma una strega e Italia un bagnino.
Emma in un modo o in un altro tutti gli  anni si veste sempre da strega.  Quest'anno ci hanno prestato il suo vestito da strega, per fortuna non si lamenta.
