Cousin Isabel came to visit from Vermont for a few weeks.  The kids were so excited to to get her at the airport.

Isabella, la cugina dal Vermont e' venuta in AZ per le ferie estive e passare un po' di tempo con i cugini.  I bambini all'areoporto.

Mi sono svegliata e i bambini e Ismar mi hanno fatto trovare la casa pulita e questa colazione per me.  Da notare il pacchetto di affettati come regalo, perche' non li compro mai.

Woke up to a clean house that Ismar and the kids did.  Then this spread for me on the table.  Italian cold cuts and San Pellegrino water are the best presents!

Si! Sono proprio in cucina che sti stanno noscondendo da una mia amica che
mi era venuta a trovare.  Ismar non voleva farsi vedere in pigiama.

Comprato per $15 dollari e l'ho rifatto come regalo per il suo compleanno da mettere in camera sua.

Remigio

Dopo una settimana e mezzo di attesa ci hanno comunicato dall'universita' che il lavoro e' stato dato ad un altro candidato che gia' lavorava per l'universita'.  Comunque hanno detto ad Ismar che lui e' il tipo di persona che l'universita' cerca come impiegato, solamente non ora?!  Vabbe', insomma noi per consolarci siamo andati a prenderci quel coniglietto adorabile e lo abbiamo chiamato Remigio.

Our consolation present!  A week and a half after his interview we found out Ismar did not get the position in Idaho, but they told him they are looking for people like him to work for the university.  What?  We were sad to we went and got the bunny.  The bunnies name is Remigio.



Purtroppo Remigio e' stato solo con noi per 4 giorni perche' mentre stava scorrazzando in giardino, e' stato (questo lo deduco io) preso da un'aquila che bazzica da queste parti perche' dietro casa nostra ci sono dei campi.  Maledetto uccello, speriamo gli pigli un colpo mentre voli dato che questo e' il secondo animale che perdiamo per colpa di questi volatili predatori. 

Unfortunatly Remigio was with us for only 4 days, he was in our backyard, playing and eating the grass and all the sudden he was gone!  We have hawks around here because of the fields behind our neighborhood and the open spaces.  I hope that bird chocks on a bone since this is the send pet we loose to these buzzards!!!!

 

 

 

My B-Day Per il mio compleanno

 Il giorno prima del mio compleanno mia cognata Erin mi ha portato fuori a pranzo per il mio compleanno dato che Ismar doveva tornare il giorno dopo dalla sua intervista con BYU in Idaho.
The day before my birthday my sister in law Erin took me out for some fresh food for an early birthday lunch.  The actual day of my birthday it would have not worked out since Ismar was flying back in town from his interview with BYUI.
