After the vacation - Dopo le vacanze

Sette bello in Salt Lake City.  We went shopping for the day in SLC for baby stuff and we had to stop and get some good pizza on our way out.  

Pizzeria Sette bello in Salt Lake City in Utah.  Abbiamo passato la giornata in SLC per andare a comprare della roba per il bambino/a, e dopo una giornata stancante ci siamo fermati in una delle poche pizzerie autentiche delle nostre parti.  Siamo ripartiti per l'Idaho subito dopo perche' ci aspettavano 4 ore di viaggio.

Erin's sister Angie visited with us for 6 days.  I really enjoyed her company.  We took her to Big Jud's, picked raspberries, cooked, shopped and cooked some more. It was nice to have company.

La sorella di mia cognata, Angie, e' stata a casa mia per 6 giorni.  Abbiamo cucinato tanto in preparazione per l'arrivo del nuovo pargolo, siamo stati a raccogliere le more ed e' stata di buona compagnia, soprattutto per me.

In preparation for the delivery I had my toes done with a stork and baby feet.  Color is yellow because we don't know the gender.  I also got a hair cut with some side bangs to switch things us a bit and not have to worry about a hair cut for a while.  Now I am ready...just need to have this baby.

In preparazione per il parto mi sono fatta fare le unghie di un color giallo (perche' non sappiamo il sesso) con i piedini e una cicogna.  Un design tutto originale per questo evento.  Sono perfino stata a tagliarmi i capelli per non dovermi preoccupare di farlo dopo che e' nato il bambino/a.  Credo di essere pronta per quest'evento, e' solo questione di aspettare e quindi aspettiamo.

So we were able to go down to Arizona and visit family for a few days before we headed down to Mexico to spend a week on the beach.  We got to see Leila's baby, the twins and family.  From the pictures it looks like we spent most of our time in restaurants but that is not the case.  My camera broke and I was not able to take many pictures.  We were able to see and spend time with Ismar's family while in Mexico and see the Vermont cousins that moved back to AZ.

Siamo stati un paio di giorni in Arizona prima di andare in Messico al mare per una settimana.  Mentre in AZ abbiamo visto il bambino di Leila, le gemelline, Gaia, Enos, Claudio e il resto dei cugini.  Dalle foto sembrerebbe che siamo stati sempre a tavola a mangiare ma non e' stato cosi'.  Sfortunatamente la mia macchina fotografica si e' rotta dopo pochi giorni del nostro arrivo e non ho potuto fare molte foto.  In Messico abbiamo passato del tempo con la famiglia di Ismar che allo stesso tempo erano in vacanza li' allo stesso tempo.  E' stato un viaggio lungo ma ne e' valsa la pena.

Scalata alle cascate di Cave in Yellowstone Park, un'ora circa da casa nostra.  Bellissimo posto, e tantissime zanzare.  La bionda e' l'amica d'Italia.

13 and 11

For the girl's birthday this year we took the party to the bowling alley, then back home for red velvet cupcakes, play, movie and lots of candy.

Per il compleanno delle bambine quest'anno abbiamo portato le amiche a giocare a bowling, poi siamo tornati a casa per decorare le cup cakes, giocare, guardare un film e mangiare tante caramelle.

Gone Fishing - A pescare

So after Ismar's 2nd trip to Mexico he came back and took the kids fishing over the weekend.  This river is only 15 minutes drive from our house.  No we didn't catch any fish, the trout and bass you see below was given to us from Ismar's friend when they went fishing early that morning.  I never had bass before and I have to say it was better than the trout.

Al ritorno del secondo viaggio di Ismar dal Messico, quel fine settimana abbiamo portato i bambini a pescare per la prima volta.  Il fiume e' solo a 15 minuti di macchina da casa nostra.  Sfortunatamente non abbiamo preso neanche un pesce, ma i bambini si sono divertiti lo stesso.  I pesci che vedete sotto sono stati presi la stessa mattina presto quando Ismar e' stato a pescare con degli amici.

 I didn't do a good job with these pictures but this is Ismar's 39th birthday.  We spent the night with some Cafe' Rio style salads, tres leches cake and friends. All his presents were clothes.

Scusate le foto, le ho fatte con il telefono e mi sono venute male.  Per il 39esimo compleanno di Ismar abbiamo passato il pomeriggo in compagnia di amici.  Come regali ha ricevuto vestiti, mi piace comprargli i vestiti.

Back from his 1st trip - Tornato dal primo viaggio

 After Ismar's first trip to Mexico for the month of June he came back with some precious Kinder  products. We went to the museum of TV in Rigby and to Big Jud's for dinner.  I think it should be called Big Jugs instead....

Dopo il primo viaggio del mese in Messico di Ismar e' tornato a casa con dei prodotti Kinder, qui dove stiamo in Idaho non si trovano.  Abbiamo passato la giornata prima al museo della televisione a Rigby e poi abbiamo cenato in un posto molto conosciuto per il loro hamburgers che si chiama Big Jud's.
