AZ trip

We left the weekend before thanksgiving to head down to AZ.  We had a baby blessing on Sunday for Leila and Chris's  baby, Anna. We had thanksgiving with Ismar's family and a couple of days later we attended Abraham and Rosie's wedding. We tried to spend a lot of time with family and friends, we got to see a lot of people, we drove around a lot and it was worth it.The last Sunday we had another baby blessing for Luis and Jessica's baby boy Jaxson,  We left Monday morning to go back to our beloved Rexburg.  We had to make the trip in 2 days because the weather was really bad when we got South of Salt Lake City.  Luckly the Kobers where kind enough to give us a place to stay for the night.  It was also really nice visit with them.

Il fine settimana prima di Thanksgiving siamo partiti per andare in Arizona. La prima domenica abbiamo assistito alla benedizione della bambina di Leila e Chris, Anna. Abbiamo passato Thanksgiving con la familgia di Ismar, ed un paio di giorni dopo siamo stati al matrimonio di Abraham e Rosie.  Abbiamo visto molti amici e famiglia. La seconda domenica siamo stati alla benedizione del bambino di Luis e Jessica,  Jaxson.  Siamo ripartiti per l'Idaho lunedi' mattina per tornare alla nostra beneamata Rexburg.  Abbiamo fatto il viaggio in 2 giorni perche' prima di arrivare a Salt Lake era brutto tempo, quindi ci siamo fermati a dormire a casa della famiglia Kober, e' stato bello anche vederli.

Tables for Los Locos Churreria -Tavoli per la churreria Los Locos.

 Ismar volunteered to make tables for the new business in town Los Locos, they will be having filled churros.  Our friends the Adams own that business and since we had still a lot of wood from the old fence we put it to use.    I helped create some of the design, stain and poly and than Geppetto did the rest.  They are beautiful tables.

Ismar si e' offerto di costruire dei tavoli per un locale che aprira' in citta' si chiamera' Los Locos e venderano churros ripieni.  I nostri amici gli Adams sono i padroni e dato che noi abbiamo tanto legno avanzato della staccionata vecchio abbiamo deciso di usare quello.  Io ho aiutato Geppetto a rifinirli ed ho fatto il disegno dei modelli diversi.  Sono venuti bellissimi.

Halloween

 Ok people...the idea was to do an emoji themed Halloween....Stefano was happy to be the smiley face, Luca said poop emoji and Sofia of course had to follow Luca so poop emoji it is for both of them.  Italia opted out for a Trump supporter and her friend was a Hillary supporter, Emma not in the picture used the old Pacman costume from a few years back.  I am pretty proud of my self for making these felt costumes.
Metto subito le mani avanti e dico che l'idea di Halloween era di fare dei vestiti da emoji.  Stefano ha subito detto che lui voleva fare lo smiley face,  Luca invece ha voluto che gli facessi la cacca e quindi Sofia dato che adora il fratello anche lei ha voluto fare la merdina.  Italia era una tifosa di Trump e la sua amica di Hillary.  Emma invece ha usato il vestito di Pacman che ho fatto un paio di anni fa.  Sono fiera di aver fatto questi vestiti di feltro per i bambini.

Fall - Autunno

October break

 For October break we decide to go on a trip and see the Star Valley temple in Wyoming and go down to Salt Lake City and go see Brigham Young's house, temple square, and so forth.  The Star Valley temple was really cute, very small.  The scenery on the way there was beautiful.  I think we better invest in a selfie stick since we always take family selfies.

Per il ponte che abbiamo avuto ad ottobre siamo stati a vedere il nuovo tempio di Star Valley nello stato del Wyoming, il paesaggio era molto bello.  Subito dopo siamo andati a Salt Lake City, abbiamo cenato con degli amici e poi in hotel.  Il giorno dopo siamo andati a temple square a vedere la casa di Brigham Young, il Crito e l'edificio di Joseph Smith.  Tutto un po' di furia ma ci siamo svagati un po'.

Francisco and Erin came to visit in October, we always appreciate them for making the effort to come our way even if it's the complete opposite of where they usually go.  Of course we did Big Jud's....it's tradition.

Il fratello di Ismar, Francisco e sua moglie Erin sono venuti a trovarci ad Ottobre per un paio di giorni.  Siamo grati che vengono a trovarci nonostante siamo dalla parte opposta di dove vanno di solito.  Siamo stati a Big Jud's come al solito a mangiare l'hamburger gigante, perche' ormai e' tradizione ogni volta che vengono a trovarci.
