Church - Chiesa

Ismar is gone to Peru and it seems that every time he is gone we get ready for church sooner.  This is a picture I sent him to let him know everyone was ready...Italia was in the bathroom that's why she is not in the picture.

Ismar e' in Peru, tutte le volte che e' in viaggio la domenica siamo sempre pronti in orario per andare in chiesa, infatti in questa foto i bambini stanno guardando i cartoni prima di andare.  Italia era ancora in bagno a farsi i capelli.

Dinning room - Sala

The big push is to have this room done before Ismar's mom comes and before graduation.  This room went quicker with the help of some angels.

This is the back splash in the kitchen.  I am showing off this precise cut Ismar did....impressive!

Queste sono le mattonelle che mettiamo al muro in cucina, sono fiera di questa mattonella che ha tagliato Ismar.

My office - Mio ufficio

This is my office!  No kidding I work in the closet.  I am a recording artist for Talkbox.mom, I recorded an audio book in Italian.  It has been fun to feel like I am working again even from inside a closet.

Questo e' il mio ufficio!  Eh si, proprio dentro l'armadio perche' sono la voce di un libro audio in italiano.  E' bello sentirsi parte di qualcosa anche se da dentro un armadio.  La compagnia per cui lavoro si chiama Talkbox.mom.

Back yard - Giardino

I trimmed the bushes while Ismar was in Peru'.  I did it because he would not have let me if he was around. It is so fun to see everything come alive for the first time.

Questi cespugli sono stati sfoltiti quando Ismar era in viaggio di lavoro in Peru', perche' quando non c'e' il gatto i topi ballano.  Questa primavera stiamo vedendo tutto fiorire, e' bellissimo.

This morning I couldn't get out of bed until I was told to, in fact I got to stay in bed till breakfast was served.  Luca made sure!

I spent my day at the mall, even though I didn't find anything that I liked, so I took Sofia to the playground and she had fun.  The rest of the day was the usual pick up and drop off kids.  I did take Italia to take senior pictures done, then dinner was made by Ismar.

Questa mattina Luca si e' assicurato che io non mi alzassi dal letto fino a che non mi e' stata portata la colazione a letto.  Il giorno l'ho passato al centro commerciale, cercando vestiti e non trovando niente, allora ho portato la bambina un po' a giocare.  Il resto del pomeriggio l'ho passato a fare la tassista come al solito.  Ho portato anche Italia a fare le foto per gli annunci di diploma, e poi Ismar ha preparato la cena.

If you look close you can tell it reads " I Love Mama"  so nice to see after a hot shower.  This was something Emma did.

Dopo esser uscita dalla doccia ho nototo la scritta "I love mama" sullo specchio, una cosa scritta da Emma.  Che bel pensierino.

Prom #2

Italia went to a second Prom at a different school with a guy named Connor.  They have been friends since we moved here.

Italia e' andata ad un secondo Prom con Connor.  E' tradizione che il ragazzo porta un braccialetto di fiori per la ragazza e la ragazza lo ricambia con un mazzetto di fiori da attaccare al vestito.

Rexburg

We went to Rexburg for a funeral...sad situation.  But we were able to see and spend some time with friends.  Both Sofia and the boys spent time with their friends who lived down the street.  I miss this place, I miss the people, and especially my neighbors.  It was hard coming back.

Siamo stati a Rexburg ad un funerale.  Abbiamo visto tanti amici, Sofia ed i bambini hanno giocato con i loro amici che vivevano nella nostra strada.  E' stato bello stare con loro per poco, ed e' stato difficile tornare in dietro.

Nonno's B-Day

Since my dad's birthday was a little over a week ago and we were not there we decided to celebrate it here.  Unfortunately I put strawberries on his cake and found out he is allergic.

Dato che il compleanno del babbo era 10 giorni fa, e noi non c'eravamo abbiamo deciso di festeggiare qui.  Peccato che io abbia messo le fragole sul dolce non sapendo che lui e' allergico.
