Arizona

 Time to take a family trip to Arizona to go attend a wedding, Franky's and Amber's to be exact, even though Ismar was just there 3 weeks ago.  It was nice to spend time with Ismar and the kids, especially since me and Italia had been gone for 3 weeks.

Abbiamo fatto un viaggio in Arizona per andare al matrimonio di mio nipote Franky e Amber.  Siamo stati un po' insieme dato che io ed Italia siamo state via per 3 settimane abbiamo passato un po' di tempo tutti insieme.

Cherry Picking

One of the advantages of living in Utah is having a lot of neighbors with fruit trees.  This neighbor has a cherry tree that needs picking so we went and got delicious cherries.

Fortunatamente qui nello Utah ci sono tanti vicini che hanno alberi di frutta che producono cosi' tanto che condividono con gli altri.  Siamo andati a raccogliere le ciliegie a casa del nostro vicino.  Erano buonissime.

4th of July

 We are husbandless for the 4th and the girls want to do their own thing, so it's me and the little ones.  We started our day at the Layton parade, then the afternoon at Seven Peaks and hamburgers and fireworks.

Per il 4 luglio siamo senza marito e le ragazze voglio andare con i loro amici, quindi io ed i bambini la mattina ci siamo fatti la parata di Layton, il pomeriggio in piscina, e la sera dopo un hamburger siamo andati a vedere i fuochi di artificio e li' c'erano anche Italia ed Emma.

Emma 16

Emma is 16!  We had breakfast outside on this beautiful Sunday morning right before Ismar had to live on his trip to I don't even remember where.....  We then drove to Saratoga Springs to celebrate with the Craners and we spend a lovely evening with their family.  Emma is full of life, loving everyone especially animals.

Emma ha 16 anni.  Abbiamo fatto colazione fuori in giardino prima che Ismar partisse per is suo prossimo viaggio non mi ricordo dove...  Il pomeriggio lo abbiamo passato a Saratoga Springs con la famiglia Craner dove abbiamo passato un bellissimo pomeriggio.  Emma e' piena di vita amando tutte le persone che la circondono e specialmente gli animali.

Italia 18

She is 18!  Officially an adult.  It's crazy how time really does fly.  I remember her birth very well and the morning my contractions started, I remember what we did and how the day went.  She came into this world slow and steady.  It was great. She has excited all our expectations and more.  We are really proud of her and everything she has accomplished so far. The weekend after we got back we through her a party with Ismar's co-workers who have seen her grow in the last 5 years., and of course some of her friends.

E' 18enne.  E' ufficialmente adulta.  Il tempo vola davvero.  Mi ricordo ancora la mattina che ho cominciato ad avere le contrazioni, cosa abbiamo fatto prima di andare all'ospedale e com'e' stato il parto.  Italia ha sorpassato tutte le nostre aspettative e continuera' a renderci genitori fieri. Appena tornate dall'Italia abbiamo fatto una festa con le persone che ci sono state vicine negli ultimi 5 anni e che hanno visto Italia crescere, i colleghi di lavoro di Ismar, e dei suoi amici.

Il nostro giardino e' il posto perfetto per fare le feste.

Kitchen - Cucina

In this post you will see, the mess around the 1st floor, the kitchen, the unfinished floor, the kitchen without a counter top (for 2 weeks).  The only thing you can't see is the dust.  I will admit that during this process I have broke down and cried because it has taken so long.  We have realized that we don't want to do this again.  Not has fun as it sounds, because let me tell you it doesn't look fun when you live in it.

Come potete vedere in queste foto vi sto' mostrando il primo piano di casa incasinato con cucina senza piano (per 2 settimane), pavimenti vecchi, e come ho detto confusione da per tutto.  L'unica cosa che non potete vedere e' la polvere che abbondava.  Devo ammettere che durante questo periodo mi sono messa a pingere dalla disperazione di vivere cosi per MESI.  Sia io che Ismar non vogliamo piu' rinnovare un altra casa per il resto della nostra vita, dato che noi ci stiamo vivendo dentro mentre stiamo facendo i lavori.
