Luca 10

Poor guy, this year his birthday landed on the 1st day of school.  No one wants to go to school on their birthday!  Oh well....we started with presents in the morning then sushi for lunch during lunch time, and cake at night.  We also had a little party for him over the weekend.  Goodbye single digit birhtdays.

Proprio quest'anno il compleanno di Luca era il primo giorno di scuola, poverino....nessuno vuole andare a scuola il giorno del loro compleanno.  Abbiamo cominciato il mattino aprendo regali, ci siamo incontrati alla scuola e mangiato il sushi per pranzo e poi un bel dolce alla ricotta di sera.  Durante il fine settimana ha festeggiato con gli amici.  Da questo momento in poi dovra' usare sempre 2 numeri.

Simone's Wedding - Matrimonio di Simone

Simone is getting married in the Timpanogos temple and I had the privilege of hosting Alessio and Patrizia at my house for the week.
I grew up around this family in Prato we went to church together.  It was sooo nice to have them around.

Simone si sposa nel tempio di Timpanogos, suo fratello Alessio e sua mamma Patrizia sono venuti a stare da noi durante la settimana.  Siamo cresciuti insieme a Prato, andavamo in chiesa insieme.  E' stato bello averli con noi.

Questo tavolino era al ricevimento di Simone e devo dire che e' la cosa piu' bella che abbia mai visto.  Il tavolino contiene tutte le foto delle persone che non sono potute essere al matrimonio.

Seven Peaks

A day with the kids at Seven Peaks Fun Center....honestly it was a little ghetto but OK I guess.  My favorite part was the laser tag.

Oggi abbiamo passato un giorno a Seven Peaks un "parco giorchi" a 45 minuti da casa mia.  Il laser tag e' stata la mia attivita' preferita.

 The Frog Hopper was the kids favorite ride, I lost count how many times they went on it.
Questa giostra e' stata quella preferita dei bambini, scendevano e poi ci risalivano.

Gaia's Graduation

 We drove back from AZ on a Monday and by the weekend we had my parents and my sister come to our house for the weekend.  Gaia is finally graduating so we took the trip to BYU-I to see the ceremony.  She has spent the last 10 years trying to achieve this goal and she is finally done it!  The first graduate in our family and won't be the last.
We also celebrated my nieces Italia's 18th birthday.  
We spent Pioneer day with the Butlers in Rexburg, they took us boating to Ririe Reservoir.

Siamo tornati dall'Arizona lunedi' e per il fine settimana i miei genitori e Gaia sono venuti a casa nostra.  Dopo 10 anni di studi, Gaia si e' finalmente laureata da BYU Idaho e noi siamo andati alla cerimonia.  La prima a laurearsi nella mia famiglia, e non l'ultima.  Abbiamo festeggiato anche il compleanno di mia nipote Italia che ha compiuto 18 anni.
Il giorno dopo la cerimonia siamo stati da degli amici a Rexburg, dato che era un giorno di festa ci hanno portato in barca.

Arizona

 Time to take a family trip to Arizona to go attend a wedding, Franky's and Amber's to be exact, even though Ismar was just there 3 weeks ago.  It was nice to spend time with Ismar and the kids, especially since me and Italia had been gone for 3 weeks.

Abbiamo fatto un viaggio in Arizona per andare al matrimonio di mio nipote Franky e Amber.  Siamo stati un po' insieme dato che io ed Italia siamo state via per 3 settimane abbiamo passato un po' di tempo tutti insieme.
