I started a new blog to document all the house renovations.  We are incognito on the blog to protect our identity, since we have very unique names.  It is always open to the public.  I will post stuff on this blog as well but this blog is not always open to the public.

Ho creato un altro blog per documentare tutti i lavori fatti in casa.  Io ed Ismar siamo incognito su questo blog per mantenere la nostra identita' segreta dato che abbiamo dei nomi non molto in comune da queste parti. Per questo quando parlo di Ismar lo chiamo Geppetto e quando parlo di me stessa mi riferisco a "me".  Da notare il titolo Geppetto and me. Questo blog e' sempre aperto al pubblico.  Aggiungero' il tutto anche su questo blog piano piano.

 Finishing touches will be putting our bookshelf up, pictures, and a new lamp since this room has no light without a lamp.  I would also like to get different chairs.  These have covers that don't stay on very well.

 Still in progress ... the fireplace is getting a face lift with a more modern tile.

September - Settembre

 Sofia wanted to do to Sea Quest and do a fish foot spa.  That lasted 5 minutes and then I was able to enjoy the other 10 minutes left on the clock.

 Per il suo compleanno Sofia e' voluta andare a Sea Quest dove hanno un pedicure con pesci.  Lei e' durata 5 minuti ed io ho approfittato degli altri 10 minuti rimasti.

OK, let me explain what happened to this cake... Sofia wanted everything pink, so I made a strawberry mouse for the filling.  I put it in the fridge and  when I took it out it was this way.  I showed Sofia thinking she would be upset and her response was "It's beautiful!"  I am glad she thought so.

 Vi spiego cosa e' successo al dolce.  Sofia voleva un dolce tutto rosa, quindi ho pensato di fare il ripieno di mouse alle fragole.  L'ho messo nel frigo a raffreddare e quando l'ho tirato fuori era cosi.  Appena lo ha visto Sofia ha detto "E' bellissimo!"  Per fortuna, pensavo di averle rovinato il dolce.
